I saw dr. Gary Lepow for 3 different cases. Two of which were previously treated by other doctors (and had complication and required further interventions) and only dr. Lepow was able to fix it.I'll use one as an example. I had an ingrown nail that was constantly inflamed and caused me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I was living in Canada back then and was treated by physician. I had 3 surgical procedures to cut down the corner of the nail (all were pretty painful recoveries, during one the anesthesia shot hit my nerve so I had "electrical" pulses running down on top of everything else). When I saw dr Lepow - he told me he will do another surgery and it will take a week to fully recover. I was skeptical at first (at pretty tired after surgical interventions). But everything was great. 2 weeks after I was walking around miles a day in any shoes! I had never had issue with ingrown nail every since. It has been 14 years:)I had 2 more foot-related issues over the years - that dr. Lepow has fixed for which I'm very grateful.Dr Lepow is a top-notch professional. He is an excellent surgeon and listens to his patients.I can recommend him with confidence! He does careful examination for the accurate diagnosis (ordered MRI before my minor surgery), consider other factors that may complicate things and obviously does a good surgery.

I went to Dr. Gary Lepow when I had a pain in my right foot. I knew I had a bone spur, but had ignored it for years until the pain grew very uncomfortable. He xrayed my foot and sent me for a MRI. Due to my postponement of treatment, the bone spur had grown and done considerably more damage than it would have if I had taken care of it in a timely manner. Dr. Lepow had to replace the joint in my big toe. Throughout the treatment and surgery, he was personable, answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, and explained everything in detail. The pain experienced throughout my surgery recovery and rehabilitation has been almost nonexistent. Dr. Lepow called me once per day for the two days after the operation to check on my progress and answer questions. I highly recommend Dr. Gary Lepow.
